The Chair of Business Dynamics, Innovation, and Economic Change at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany, focuses on the scientific fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, regional development, and public policy in both teaching and research. Current research projects deal with topics related to entrepreneurial universities and academic entrepreneurship, new business formation and business model innovation, technology transfer commercialization as well as public policy evaluation.

Neues Vertiefungsmodul "Klima und Nachhaltigkeit"
Das neue Vertiefungsmodul "Klima und Nachhaltigkeit"External link beschäftigt sich mit klimapolitischen Fragestellungen aus umwelt- und ressourcenökonomischer Perspektive. So werden Lösungsansätze für Umweltprobleme auf nationaler sowie internationaler Ebene diskutiert sowie politsche Instrumente der Klimapolitik erläutert. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der effizienten und nachhaltigen Nutzung nicht erneuerbarer Ressourcen. Die Dozenten Prof. Freytag de und Prof. MenterExternal link werden zu speziellen Themen anerkannte Fachleute einladen, um so das Spektrum der Veranstaltung zu erweitern.
